That's the whole point of the dark zone though. You have to always be on your toes, ESPECIALLY if you want the best loot! This is why you go to extraction zones often, and always stay frosty! I get that it's frustrating, but I found it extremely suspenseful every time I had to extract anything!

I have also pre-ordered the game, but Steam apparently won't let me pre-load it, so I'll have to download and install once it goes live. That's okay though, because my fiance comes back from Canada on Tuesday, so I'll likely be a bit tied up for a couple days.

Teehee.

I just bought this. Playing through the 'Situations' now, then I will likely try some matchmaking (or whatever they call it). I can't wait, this is definitely fun so far! I bought the game through Uplay rather than Steam, and I have no idea how to link it so it shows that I'm playing it to my Steam friends. But I'll try to get into the teamspeak whenever I'm playing online games so you guys know.

Who else has the game? I'd love to get some groups going!

Yeah I saw that in the video I watched. As long as I don't defect, I should be okay. I do like the ethos though. And I love rooting for an underdog. But also he had the most CC (or CP? I can't remember off-hand) available out of all the 'underdogs'.

Hahaha that guy didn't even expect anyone to be there. Good kill.

Also, once you emptied your clip and pulled out your 1911, I said, "Lambourne, I think he's dead." Oh well, better be sure... haha.

I get so unbelievably bored with trading. I did a little bit back and forth between a couple systems when I found some items that they sold to each other for profit, but just to get enough money up to buy an eagle, which I used in the Nav Beacons. Now I have a viper, and I am enjoying the nav beacon combat very much. I'm thinking that bounty hunting is going to be my thing for quite some time. I pledged to an independent (rather than empire or federation) because I liked the sound of the weapon that you can unlock at one of the ranks. Now I will just be watching some tutorial videos on how to move that power up the list... I just recently moved my viper over 200LY to my power's HQ, so we'll see how I fare from there! I think the system is called Polevnic.

I've done a lot of trading, exploring and combat.
Don't ask me about mining, smuggling or piracy! I've not done that (yet). I might be looking at smuggling soon as it pays well!

Well I just got back into an Eagle and I've been roaming around Nav Beacons killing wanted pilots to make money. I can never seem to find any good contracts because they are all 'unattainable'. I also know NOTHING about 'pledging' to people or whatever. The most in-depth thing I've done in the game so far is taking on a mission to find and kill someone specific... only to find out they were flying in a fleet of 3 Anacondas. I kind of got my sh*t rocked... bahahahahaha!

They say there are zombies in 0.59, and I've seen videos of there being zombies in 0.59... but I played for over 2 hours this morning and didn't see a single one. I'm not sure why, maybe they don't spawn new ones after they are killed? Maybe new ones don't spawn after server restarts? But I was able to run through Svet completely zombie free for the entire time I was playing.

Maybe I'll get lucky soon, and actually see one again. I honestly miss the zombies, and I wish they would become a threat again. Remember the days of crawling through Polana just to find some food? I want THOSE days back!

For scriv, as promised, there will be a very short video (completely un-edited) of the Esseker map with zombies and such. The "Frankie Edition" Pertains to the other below video entitled "The Horde", posted by FrankieOnPC from YouTube.

First video of me will be available here:
Esseker1

Video of Frankie:

It's worth noting that the "mod" Frankie was playing on doesn't actually exist (at least, not yet) on any servers. The "Frankie Edition" Esseker maps you can find on Arma 3 are setups that some people have thrown together. See my video for a very small representation of what you can expect.
