I have around 15 hours in. I like this much better than the BF4 Beta.
Likes: 1) Big free roam map. 2) Controls are almost identical to GRFS; with some exceptions. 3) Weapons varied and can be modified. 4) Easy to make a squad and do co-op missions. 5) Combat was good; the cover system is the same as GRFS.
Dislikes/Things that need tweaking: 1) Graphics, though not bad, could have more detail. I found the framerates flowed good with minor glitching. 2) Dark Zone/Multiplayer? Was ok but players could camp at spawn points.I did like how you could help random players in combat. 3) AI was dumb, in my opinion, and some took so much damage before going down it was ridiculous. Even with armor, a head shot should drop them instantly. 4) Fast Travel is not fast. 5) No vehicles. 6) It would be nice to be able to destroy cover and objects such as cars.
Overview: I really had fun playing. Launch is still a ways off. I like the exploring portion of the game. I learned quickly to help civilians out as they would give you great kit sometimes. The only mission that was included was challenging and fun. The layout of NYC was correct. I have a friend who lived there and commented on that aspect. It is easy to get XP points. For fun, I shot birds, rats, and dogs that rewards XP. MP needs works. It was bad; though it was fun to take on high level AI for kit. In the DZ, other players would camp extraction zones and steal from you. Hopefully, Ubisoft will work on that issue. I really enjoyed playing the beta and hope the final product shines; unlike BF4. Some parts also reminded me of Watchdogs. I would like to see the graphics tweaked and a little more realism with destruction and killing enemies. I did like how a hit to the legs would cause them to limp.
