I disagree, a lot of men left Europe to join IS and it would not surprise me if a lot will be trying to come back. 1,005,504 arrived in Europe by 21 December 2015,no one knows how many are coming from IS even if it is just 5% that is 'a lot'.The US has only offered to take a very small fraction of these refugees.
In terms of the rest yes I agree that they may be fleeing the war, or coming to Europe looking for a more prosperous life. But in these sorts of numbers Europe cannot cope. Most of the front line countries such as Greece, Hungry etc.. are not rich and cannot support these numbers, and countries like Germany and Sweden are starting to struggle with the shear numbers. Which is giving far right political parties a surge in popularity, which is not good for anyone.
Paris and Brussel's were just the tip of the iceberg many failed/stopped acts of terrorism have occurred that haven't made it to the US news no doubt.
