As with most weapons in PS2 it is fairly well balanced dependant upon your fighting range. It seemed quite accurate with what felt like low, uncontrollable left/right recoil. Probably best at medium range and you would need to be firing first at close range. GR 22 or Cyclone would be your better close range option. Without examining the weapon stats this is probably competing against the Carnage or NC1. But it's really down to your preference of damage/rate of fire. I don't use the medic a great deal but for now the NS 11P seems a viable option.
I used 1x and NV scopes (Hossin :) ), forward grip, HV ammo at medium and SP ammo for close range.
