Here I will list updates coming to the PCGN Karts server.

 

 

  • The ability to for the server to place karts in correct position on start grid
  • An offical start system (maybe lights) to be implemented
  • The ability for teams to be created
  • A hive system so times etc.. are saved
  • Laps are counted and tracked by server to make sure no one cheats
  • More new tracks to come. There are now 8 instead of the original 5.

They're some good improvements.
I know it's only fun but keeping track of the laps was difficult when we had the gathering.

Good - Start system with light and audio count down
Decent - Ability to create teams
Great - Hive to track track use, times and victories
Great - Laps counted/tracked by server
Good - More new tracks with longer stretches and obstacles

MAJOR UPDATE!

 

Now organise races with our fully customized, one-of-a-kind, proprietary racing scripts!

 

The following tracks now allow a means of organizing races:

 

  1. Airfield Track
  2. Dome Track
  3. Mud Track
  4. Salt Track

Racing Instructions:

 

  1. have all participants approach marshal at desired track
  2. check info by scrolling to "Race Information" and learn about laps, etc
  3. choose scroll option to "Organize Race" - all participants
  4. choose scroll option to "ready up" - all participants
  5. once all participants are "ready" you will all be placed in a kart in the starting formation
  6. a countdown timer will go from 3
  7. you may drive your kart and race on "GO"
  8. your finishing position will be displayed in the bottom left corner of screen
  9. once all participants have finished your racing karts will despawn off the track
  10. rinse and repeat at any of the tracks mentioned above

General information about organized races:

  • 12 racer slots MAX per track/race
  • Race Information scroll menu option will pop up a box displaying how many laps and other general information for that track
  • there are very little notifications when organizing races currently. if you organize then ready before anybody else can join the race then it will just be you racing
  • anybody trying to join a race in progress will be denied entry (see above)

 

did i mention that 3 new tracks have been added?

 

  • Salt Track - by bobo
  • Ramps Away Track (future site of death race competitions) - by Ballsinacan
  • Eight Track - by Ballsinacan

 

now live on PCGN Kart World server...
