Tips for King of the Hill (KOTH):



King of the Hill is a popular Team vs Team multiplayer objective control game mode. Featuring the entire arsenal of ArmA 3 weapons, gear, and vehicles which is accessed through a persistent leveling and monetary system. To play this game mode, search for a "King of the Hill" server in the mission filter.

The game mode features factions of BLUFOR (blue), OPFOR (red), and Independent (green) fighting for control over designated objectives. The persistent level experience and monetary system makes available new skins, weapon attachments, weapons, and vehicles. Players care about their in-game character and personal asset survival because new equipment was purchased using hard earned in-game money. Perks are also available to assist players for their specific playing style as well as aiding your team with a specialized ability. Points are awarded for each hit on an enemy player and vehicle and toward a player's contribution towards the team’s success. Players are rewarded for reviving and providing first aid to their teammates and helicopter pilots are rewarded for inserting team mates into the capture zone. Cost-free ground vehicles and helicopters spawn on a regular basis at the friendly main base. Some the aircraft can be set on very short de-spawn timers, so enter the vehicle before it explodes. With time and effort, you will be able to afford more lethal Tanks, Helicopters and even Jets.

At 1230 hrs Eastern Time on Sunday, 8 FEB 2015, there were 72 server running the King of the Hill game mode with some servers running as many as 120 player slots.




Once you select a team you will be provided with an initial loadout which is FREE (in-game money).



You earn money for doing in-game activities.


Once you have earned money by playing the game, you will be able to spend your in-game money to tailor your loadout. Here is the configuration of the vendors on the home base pavilion. You can Change Appearance, Full Rearm, Change Loadout, Change Perks, and Buy Vehicles.





Each match will have a different objective area and home base designated somewhere on the island.




Each match will position the team home bases equidistant with the same distance from the objective area.
