I finally made the run. The first two attempts ended in disaster. First I wrecked on the way there and the second I dumped the transmission. I had just changed my controls up a bit realizing that the steering help was turned on along with other driving assists. I realized this was a bad choice so I reloaded and took her out just to get the feel of the new settings. Another reload and a trip to the starting line later and I was on my way. I took it as fast as I felt comfortable without destroying the car which I assumed was going to be a slow time. I got to the finish line and held up the results which hadn't populated yet. About a second later everyones names and times were on the score sheet and I went scanning down the list looking for mine. I didn't see it. My time was at the bottom of the sheet but not on the list. I wondered what had happened. Did I get disqualified? Did I do something wrong and not get scored? NO! I GOT THIRD! I ACTUALLY PLACED. And that is when I noticed the trophy in the background.

Then I just had to take a glamour shot with the trophy in the hood.

I am not sure yet if this has unlocked more content in the game so there willl be more to come later.

Almost forgot...

Buy extra belts. I threw mine shortly after the race pulling out of my driveway.
