Never even heard of: Turku, Finland Founded in the 13th century. After Finland became part of the Russian Empire in 1809, the capital of Finland was moved to Helsinki in 1812. Turku was the most populated city in Finland until the late 1840s. Turku’s population is approximately 182,000 making it the sixth largest city in Finland. There are approximately 303,500 people in the Turku regional area ranking it the third largest urban area in Finland.
Adelaide, Australia Founded in 1836. Fifth-largest city in Australia with a population of 1.23 million
Damnit Scriv, you're supposed to know everything about small European nations!
I do think it's a rather strange choice if you're picking a city from Finland. All of Finland is in the same time zone (GMT+2), so Helsinki would be exactly the same, just more well known. Whatever, it doesn't matter.
I did know that Adelaide is a city in Australia, but do we have a need to see what time it is in Australia? Do we have any clan members from there? I'd replace it with GMT+0, which should be the time in London, if I'm not mistaken.
Scriv was requesting the time zone for Central Europe. This would be GMT+1, which is already there in the form of Stockholm, Sweden. You could replace it with Germany, France, or any other country in Central Europe if you wanted.
For a moment I thought the title meant some sort of a pub floating somewhere in time, like in a Douglas Adams novel. Maybe the SWF clan doesn't have the necessary resources for that...yet.
