1. It rolls your player back about a week. Some servers will start you as a fresh spawn.

2. Adds some new items.

3. Adds an entire new city on the NE coast.

4. Changes almost all the servers to real time. This makes it harder for those of us who can only play in the evening to find a daylight server.

Interesting. The red roof barn is spawning loot now. There is green spray paint. There is a known glitch. Do not use the spray paint on a Mosin as it will only allow one round in the weapon at a time. There are military zombies. Pepsi, Coke, box .357 ammo, weapon cleaning kit, speed loader for shotgun, hacksaw, and more....

Plan for release of 0.45 to Stable

Originally we planned to release the 0.45, currently on experimental branch, to stable today. However feedback from experimental identified a flaw in a newly designed system to handle player movement. This causes the server to, when faced with complex geometry, come up with a different acceptable pathing result than a client. When the server and client have differing states, the server “wins”. Therefore the place your client lets you go gets “reset” and you warp back to your position.

This is very frustrating as I am sure those testing on experimental will know. We know exactly the problem that causes this, it’s not a bug in a traditional sense but a problem with the approach we used. Currently that approach is being rewritten.

What we did do was merge in some changes to 0.44 that enhance security. There are some loopholes in the game that have not been utilizing our client-server architecture and we will continue to work on these to reduce the impact of hacking and exploiting in the game.

I wish they could fix the buildings at the NE airfield. I recognize the advantages the building glitches can give you, there are too many annoying instances of people exploiting the upstairs glitch and the downstairs jail cell glitch. There's also been a huge increase in hacked mags and ammo. I've also experienced people able to use admin global ingame communication. There's been evidence of hacked weapons or hacked ammo in all rifles. There's also been a couple teleportation incidents...

That's because they are still using battleeye, they should have used steams VAC instead.

Actions: Added cancel current player action on self and on target back to gear configuration

Actions: Igniting fireplace depends on wind strength and rain

I was pleasantly surprised that the glitching had been fixed at one of my favorite haunts, the NE airfield. And even well into last nite's action, there had been no incidents of glitching or hacking. But then on a private server, we noticed a player semi glitched into a wall in the E jailhouse. Not really a problem as he was visible and vulnerable where his body was exposed. Then came a hacker, unseen, who grabbed everyone's gear. So we got one whole day of peace from the hackers. Also whether intentional or not, the private/public server BS with regards to gear is a nuisance. Its also undocumented which further irks me...
