Heads up survivors!

If you think you can dispatch a zombie with a side step and a whack think again. New zombie AI implemented yesterday makes hand to hand combat much more difficult. They have also populated the northern area with zeds. No more zombie free zones. The good news is that they have introduced stealth, so it's easier to get passed them without agro. Still, if one does corner you and you have the ammo you might want to use it rather than your axe, or you WILL take damage. Other changes I've encountered so far:

Blaze and Longhorn now take .308 ammo.

Loot spawns have been rearranged.

Terrible quality video, but this is the exact problem I was having with the bow. It's simple to craft, but impossible to use at the moment. Stick to firearms.

The best places to find loot are now where other players loot the least.

If all the spawn points are along the coast then is it a given that loot will become more abundant as you move north and west?
