I have been schooled! Thank you Phoenix.

Thats right, he figured it out before I did. After seeing BB code not work (uses brackets as tags to tell the www it wants to display something other than text) I assumed it was HTML (uses < and > as tags). After trying several different forms of HTML I figured it just didn't work for this site.

Along comes Phoenix and gets it on his first try using BB code. Here is how it's done:

{img}http://g.bf3stats.com/pc/Xo6yzDDp/tazimafied.png{/img} replacing {} with []

I think now I will hand web site construction and moderation over to Phoenix who is obviosly better at this than I am.

Taz,

You could use the script/code option (<> or "code" in between the brackets) in the above menu to display script/code without the script/code being enabled

Well it actually wasn't my first try.  At first I just put a link to an image in the signature line, then realized that just displayed the link in text format.  Then I tried BBcode for the hell of it, and it worked.  Just trial and error.  I definitely can't make an entire site work like this one, but I would be happy to help moderate.  I've been much more active lately, and I see no signs of that changing anytime soon.

Also, I tried to write the tutorial for how to do it, but for some reason (even when using the MCE option), my post kept coming up with all the html code in my main text, so I just scrapped it altogether.  It was late...  :)

You can 'subscribe' to a thread by checking the "Notify me of new posts in the current thread" option (located near the bottom of the page in any given thread).

I've noticed not every thread has this option.  Not sure why.

There is also this same checkbox at the bottom of all the checkboxes under your reply text box when posting to a thread.  Just look under the TinyMCE box to find it, just above the 'attach file' field.  This is also where you will find your 'attach signature' checkbox (which isn't always checked by default I've noticed).

You can also change the notification method just below that (clicking 'change' will take you to your 'edit profile' page and if you scroll down you can choose between 'disable', 'private message', and 'email notification').

Lol I have no idea. I just used an image I had saved from a while back, and there it is.

Though, to add a joke in there... green vegetables. ;)

The images are being displayed at their native sizes. It does seem like they are smaller here but insure you they are the same size. They just look smaller due to the larger framework of the forum and website. If you would like a larger image in your signature then you can either make one, ask for someone to make one for you or find a larger image with your stats in it. There is currently no size limit but I do ask that you be reasonable.
