The new server is up and running. The permissions system is the same so we may have to use the old server, which seems to be working pretty good right now, to coordinate gaming until we get everyone in.

The =SWF= Spartan War Fighters TeamSpeak 3 Server is operational.

Ok here is the Nightmare's Echo NmE server info.

Address is 46.20.116.65: 13987

It is password protected, so if you want it, just email.

It is a 15 player server att.  I brought the server cause I got fed up with ours changing so often and being in the hands of a third party.

It is great to see TeamSpeak integrated into the website again. I missed that feature. Thanks, Taz.

A message from NFO Servers about our TeamSpeak:

Between approximately 2am and 6am CDT on Friday, November 7, we plan to migrate your service in Chicago to an upgraded machine, in order to increase performance and avoid running out of memory for the foreseeable future. We expect for this move to result in 15-30 minutes of downtime for your server. All of its settings will be retained, as will its address; the only observable impact will be the short downtime.

A message from our host, NFO Servers.

"Between 3am and 7am CDT on Wednesday, March 11, we plan to switch over to a new router in Chicago. The new router is already physically installed and ready to go, which means that we just need to move over the fiber connections to activate it. We expect for this process to take a few minutes, if everything goes smoothly, during which time your server will be unreachable.

After the cutover, we will be testing the new router to make sure that it works properly. This should generally be non-intrusive, but there is a chance that we may need to switch back to the old router, or that we run into a problem, leading to some further downtime during the maintenance window.

During this window, on-site staff will also be accessing a cabinet to install new servers. This should not cause an impact, but they will have to physically move a power strip while it is live, so there is a slim chance of a power disconnection for some machines. We will encourage them to be as careful as possible with this operation."

Yet another update from NFO...

We are updating our network configuration in Chicago in a way that will allow us to add additional upstream providers in the near future. We have scheduled this maintenance to occur between 3am and 6am CDT on Wednesday, April 15, and we expect for it to lead to approximately two minutes of connectivity loss for your service (though it could be less or slightly more).

This is purely a configuration change and no hardware will be adjusted. We will be watching carefully and ready to revert the configuration if necessary. Our goal is to keep the downtime to an absolute minimum.

Between 2am CDT and 4am CDT on Monday, June 1, we plan to switch back to our newer router in Chicago. We have made adjustments to its configuration and run extensive CPU and memory tests on it since we took it offline on May 20, and it seems to be stable, but to be safe, we have also developed a tool that will automatically reboot it if it becomes unresponsive again; this means that if downtime occurs, it will only last 3-5 minutes instead of the longer previous outages (if this system kicks in, we will of course then migrate back away from it).

As a result of the maintenance on Monday, your service should see less than three minutes of connectivity loss.
