Microsoft is now offering a FREE upgrade to windows 10.

This version looks like a big change in the right direction. Some items like sidebar widgets, live essentials, and games will be removed or changed. Worth noting are the inability to play DVD's with windows software and the removal of live essentials and the sidebar. If you use and enjoy some of these features you may want to hold off. It sounds like they are going back to the functionality of XP with the rest of the changes.

Here is a link to the Windows site. http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/features If it doesn't work the first time close the window/tab and try again. It is a Microsoft product.

I am still on the fence about it. Will you be taking the plunge?

Taz,

I'm planning a new build early next year, and I think I'll go Windows 10 then. I don't think I'll be upgrading until then.
