DayZ ORIGINS by PCGN! We're BACK!

Just getting started.

PCGN is proud to announce that we are hosting a DayZ ORIGINS server once again. The game has changed and changed for the BETTER! There are many new aspects to explore and learn as well as trying to survive the persistent Zeds that can now get you sick as well. Better have some meds with you! And if the Zeds don't get you The roaming AI or Oaksy will! You can't hide in your houses or fortresses forever... They WILL find you...So stay frosty my friends!

Here is what you need to do:

1- Download and run ArmA 2

2- Download and run ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead (In that order)

3- Go to this site: http://originsmod.info/download.html and use the downloader to get the Origins mod. You can download it from other sources such as Torrent sites, but make sure it is added correctly to the Operation Arrowhead main directory.

4- Now, launch Operation Arrowhead and make sure the mods selected are: ArmA2, Operation Arrowhead, and ORIGINS...That's it!

If you use the launcher you can search for our server or you should be able to find it in the server browser of the game as long as it is launched to ORIGINS.

Thanks Fire. Looking forward to playing this mod again.

PCGN has called for an initial cease fire until we can all get kitted up. We will be making some Sector B runs and getting houses, garages and maybe even a fort set up before the cease fire is called off.

To join PCGN's discord simply launch your discord app then open a browser window. Type 'discord.pcgn.net' in the address bar of your browser and follow the prompts.

Downloaded and Installed Arrowhead

Downloaded and Installed DayZ Origins Launcher

Unable to Download the origins mod

Bit Torreted the origins mod

Placed the origins mod folder in the main Arrowhead folder

Error message when attempting launch Arrowhead:
userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp

Googled:
userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp
Unable to identify a method to correct the error

Uninstalled Arrowhead

Downloaded and Installed ArmA 2

Downloaded and Installed Arrowhead

Placed the origins mod folder in the main Arrowhead folder

Error message when attempting launch Arrowhead:
userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp

Checked the integrity of Arrowhead within Steam
Two file identified as corrupted and repaired.

Error message when attempting launch Arrowhead:
userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp

Removed the origins mod folder from the main Arrowhead

Error message when attempting launch Arrowhead:
userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp

Launched ArmA 2 and entered a mission even though I got the following error message during launch of ArmA 2:
"Missing or invalid form session key"

Error message when attempting launch Arrowhead:

Taz figured it out. Your ArmA files are stored in two places:


Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

and


Documents/ArmA 2

In this later folder, go to: ArmA2OA.cfg
Open with Notepad

Toward the bottom find:


class ModLauncherList

{

Then there will be a list of mods: class Mod1, class Mod 2, class Mod 3, etc...
Remove all the 'class Mod' entries

Make sure your '@OriginsMod' folder is in the main folder of 'Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead' in the first file path mentioned above.

At the bottom of your ArmA2OA.cfg it will look like;


class ModLauncherList

{

};

Launch Arrowhead, enable origins, and restart.
To enable origins, go to:'Extensions' click the box to the left. Click 'okay' at the bottom. Restart Arrowhead.

Your ArmAoA.cfg will look like:


class ModLauncherList

{

    class Mod1

    {

        dir="@OriginsMod";

        name="Origins Mod 1.8.3";

        origin="GAME DIR";

        fullPath="C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonArma 2 Operation Arrowhead@OriginsMod";
