Even if I add all those racing and flying games, as well as CS:GO and some RTS games, the list would be about the same size it was earlier.

=SWF=pershainovitsh
BF2 - PR - FH2 - BF4 - ARMA3 - PS2 - Day Z - WT - AC - LFS - F1'13 - R07 - FSX - CS:GO - TW:R2

How about this? Would anyone like to add or remove something? At the moment Assetto Corsa (AC) doesn't have multiplayer, but it should be added pretty soon.

If it really does have sandbox levels and good co-op, this could be a fun game.

I finally managed to tame the Pagani Zonda R. Give it just a little too much throttle, and the rear gets out of control. Luckily, unlike the Ferrari F40, it doesn't have a turbo, so I just applied a very small amount of force on the throttle, and then gradually gave the beast more and more power. I probably could take off several seconds off the lap time, but I still managed to beat the Ferrari 458 S3 time by two seconds.

Speaking of the 458... The last time I played I was so tired that I couldn't keep it on the track (surprisingly I could do it with the Zonda). Maybe some day I'll get closer to Wobbly's inhuman lap times.

I think I did get a few seconds off the "old Lotus F1 car on Monza 1966" challenge. That's an interesting car and a good track. And oh, by the way, they released version 0.8 of AC. It came with the Ferrari Niki Lauda drove, as well as some Lotus sports car. 1.0 is looming in the horizon. I wonder when will multiplayer be ready?

From my experience, driving with a controller doesn't compare at all to driving in real life. And Assetto Corsa comes pretty damn near it, with all the tiny details on the road surface being felt through the steering wheel. If/When you get a good steering wheel, you'll understand how much information (about the road) you were missing. I'd expect every game to feel very similiar when playing with a gamepad, because you don't get force feedback with them. But in F1 2013, you don't get a good feeling on what's happening under the wheels.

And we'll see how good your lap times are if you turn traction control and automatic gearbox off...

Flying & driving games to add: Assetto Corsa, F1 2013, Live for Speed, FSX, maybe IL2? Does anyone have Race 07? I think it's a really good racing game, but some may be put off by the fact that without any DLC it only has touring cars.

The difficult thing here is that if I add a game that's owned by only one person, it's pretty much just waste of space.

After driving an F1 car in Live for Speed and Assetto Corsa, I'm not surprised that the handling is much worse in this mostly-arcade game. It just lacks any feel the previously mentioned games have. I doubt you can notice this if you're playing with a controller.

But when I played it inside the body of a a real F1 car with F1-style steering wheel and pedals, it was great. Maybe I just got more immersed, maybe the steering wheel settings were adjusted better or maybe the steering wheel&pedals just were better than mine.

Anyway, I do think we should try to play for a little bit. Maybe someone on the internet has figured out a way to set up the wheel in a good way.

I think some gaming journalists played this with the Oculus Rift. It was supposedly the best experience on the Oculus so far. Probably because you'll just be sitting down both in-game as well as in real life. And that does sound like a lot of fun.

This is what I think:

Will keep: latest Battlefield, Arma 3, Day Z, Planetside 2

Will remove: BF 2142, Company of Heroes, the BF3 expansion chart, BF:BC2, Arma 2 CO, Arma 2 PR, Ghost Recon (sniff!), BF2: Special Forces

Not sure: BF2: PR, BF2: FH2, War Thunder

Do people play War Thunder anymore? Are Wargame: Airland Battle/Red dragon and Rome 2 popular games? Should Counter Strike: GO be added? I don't think we should get rid of everything, though. The BF2 mods are still awesome, FH2 is getting a big update, and they are occasionally played by few and joined by many.

If we only had the three most popular games in there, some great games would possibly be forgotten and some great matches would never even happen. The point of this chart is to make those matches possible, to see that an event could actually have more than two people in it, and to let people have a go at a game they otherwise wouldn't have played and never thought to ask if anyone else has it.

Maybe people could also add a couple of games they own and would like to play with others, and those games would be included in a separated section.

Here's an idea of how it would look like.

=SWF=pershainovitsh
BF2 - PR - FH2 - BF4 - ARMA3 - PS2 - Day Z - WT

Additional games: Ghost Recon (+expansions+Heroes Unleashed mod), Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, Live for Speed, Race 07, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

[other names]

Please give me input on how to improve the chart. What to remove, what to add.
