I've invested hard earned war-funds into some Assault Teams.

So far I have:
2 Guard (foot infantry)
2 Recon
2 Light Armor
1 Pathfinder (Paratrooper)

A big advantage of deploying any Assault Teams is a huge boost of XP for your soldiers eg. Infantry soldier with your Guard AT's.

I'm looking forward to leveling up to Motorized Guard and Recon and Medium Armor!

I'm starting to understand how the War works and how valuable the resources are eg. those tanks getting destroyed are all yours!

I would warn though the deploy time for your AT's is around 2 days,yes 2 days! I have only used my Paratroopers once!
This can be frustrating when you want to get stuck in and are unable.
The Resupply and Deploy queue time seems to be a German only problem, hence Germany never winning the War.

Hopefully the devs will be addressing this situation. It is about time we pushed those cocky Yanks back over to the Tommies!!!

I'm happy to stick with H&G. IMO it is as good as the old BF games (yes, even BF2)!

Am I 'bovvered' about BF WW1? No.

Flying is great fun, but hard at first (unless your name is Iwazzio)!!!

A word of warning for those who might try out the paratrooper!

He can only carry a rifle, no grenades or mines. If you want to drop behind tanks to destroy them you will have to unlock the pistol (as main weapon) to carry explosives (or ditch the rifle and just go for anti tank stuff)

After saying this, it is still the most fun I've had so far (and highest scoring)

I could not hold out any longer and purchased a Rank 0 Paratrooper!

Wow, what fun! You start with the same rifle as the Infantryman but it seems more effective from rooftops!

You can choose your spawn target on the map (the plane flies over your target and you are told when to jump) or just spawn on the plane and jump out anywhere.
Think of the anti tank havoc you could cause landing behind tanks!

Here are a few shots to give you an idea. I must get some mid air shots next.

Viper, I think if you purchase the rank 12 (Leutnant),it enables you to deploy assault teams into the battle.
Rank 18 (Major) is commanding only like in BF2.

I could be wrong, but both of these options are way ahead of our experience.
I'm sure Scriv or Iwazzio could clarify

I found this walk-through on the recent patch.(9.9)

Reached and purchased the first Tiger tank today!
I've only played one quick round but found it incredibly slow and felt very vulnerable!
I think a new strategy is needed due to the lack of mobility. A good position is going to be essential. The main cannon has a zoom and has a much longer range, so this will enable holding back much further.

Also, put everything you have into getting the HE's!!!

Hopefully more rounds will reveal it's strength!

Edit: Beware the cost of running a heavy tank. My last game (of average length) cost me nearly 10,000 !!!
