Makes sense.  It was a bit confusing, but the link I was using didn't have the https on it.  Just http.  But I'll get the direct link from the video (not the youtu.be one) next time I try to post one.  Thanks for the tips.

I was just telling my roommate last night that when this game is completely finished... it will likely hit World of Warcraft status.  He said we'll see.  We're currently in early alpha and already on our way!!!!  :D

Ah, thank you.  Not sure if my link had an 's' in it, and also I didn't try to use the other formats because Taz made it sound like the TinyMCE was the only format that worked for posting on the forum.

I'll have to remember that for next time.

Tried to post this video... followed the instructions exactly... everything worked in the preview, but after I submit the post I get nothing but a tag that says !iframe Filtered! (with brackets around it).

Not sure what's going on here.  There are other videos posted, I have posted a video before (I think), but this one just doesn't want to work.  Is there any chance that Firefox is interfering with my posting?  I'll try again to post it with IE.

It would seem I am unable to post videos on the site.  I keep getting that 'iframe filtered' text after I post.  I tried multiple ways of posting, even using every bbcode available (since the bbcode for posting images works fine) to no avail.  I even attempted to use straight up html code by editing the html source of my post... I end up getting a white square where the video should be.

I'm out of ideas.  Taz, it's time for you to work your magic.  Sorry bud.

I'm still logged in Taz.  Before, even with your time limit set to unlimited, I would still have to log back in every time I closed and re-opened the browser.  Now, since I went to that other screen and clicked that checkbox, I'm still logged in a day later.

Edit:  It has now been well over a week since I originally used this tactic to remain logged in, and it is still working just fine.  I'm going to write up a quick tutorial in the forum instructions section for anyone who is interested.

Accidentally stumbled onto a nice surprise here...

If you enter your password incorrectly, you are taken to another screen that has a 'remember me' checkbox.  I haven't tested it 100% yet, but initial tests indicate that it keeps the user logged in after closing and re-opening the browser and navigating back to the forum.

Will check again in a few hours to see if I'm still logged in.

Perhaps this option can be found and added onto the homepage?

That's a good one.  I haven't seen it rain yet.  I wonder if maybe this image is from a developer version of the game.

Wondering if we can figure out why this is, and fix it.  As long as I have the website open in a tab, I shouldn't get logged out automatically, but it's happened to me twice, even while posting a reply.  I left the tab open while I did something with images, and when I came back and tried to post it, I was thrown into the main forum area and a box that said "you are not allowed to access this area" popped up, and I realized that I had been logged out.

Also, the ability to stay logged in would be good too.  A checkbox under the login section is the norm.  :)
