I can only assume all the posts after the Lotus Exige challenge post are about the new Lotus Exige challenge, which is this week's challenge. Unfortunately I haven't had time to drive any virtual cars yet. But tomorrow I will unleash the Finnish fury... on the track, this time! (I don't remember driving much on either the car or the track. I wonder what Taz was talking about.)

I got 1:31:643. That was the only lap that even qualified. Magione has some REALLY slow corners and not much straight track. I don't like the track much. I like long straights and not so steep corners.

The Lotus Exige Scura was mostly easy to drive, but just like with the BMW M3 E30, downchanging at the wrong moment sends the car spinning. For some reason I had trouble changing from fourth to fifth, and many times on the long straight I would change from fourth to third with the revs going on the redline, blowing up the engine. It also got so hot in my room that I'll wait until the evening before I drive again. Powersliding was quite easy with this Lotus, so maybe I could cut off a few seconds with that...

Let's get the week's challenge announced on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday rather than late in the week.

Please put the next challenge in the following format:
Hotlap, Vehicle at Track (DATE Range) Ending on a Sunday at midnight Eastern Time

Ensure you have each other on your friend's list to have each other names and times posted in-game.
Screen captures are a nice addition.

This is also my least favorite track. I found with the Scura the back end would go under braking on the tight corners. The Evora is a nicer drive and faster.

Any ideas for next weeks venue.
Do you fancy choosing Viper?

Here is a challenge:

Does a competitor have a favored vehicle and track to recommend for our weekly challenge that can de-thrown the long-standing champion (Wobbly)??

Well not me, still catching up. Taz or Al may have something up their sleeve.

How about Vallelunga-club using the KTM X-Bow R.

Not been to that circuit but may suit Al as there are some long straights.

Will try and take the hand brake off this time

I shove off some time and got pretty close to Taz. My time was 1:28:903.

As for a favored car/track combination that could be used to beat Wobbly, I don't think anyone has beaten or can beat his combination of beer and a gamepad. :D We could have a Ferrari F40 challenge on some track, and as long as no one is using any assists, I would have a good chance to beat the competition... But maybe we should start the challenges with easier cars and progress towards the most powerful, hard-to-tame beasts.

KTM X-Bow R on Vallenlunga club sounds good to me, although I don't remember it having that much straight track, as it's a pretty short one. The game is on next week!
